Kishwaukee Community Church is a part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and is located just south of Rockford, IL, serving northern Ogle and southern Winnebago County. Our purpose is to glorify God through worship, discipleship, fellowship, service and evangelism, presenting to Him people mature in Christ who take His gospel into the world.

WOMEN'S RETREAT  -- FEBRUARY 18, 2023

GIRLS . . . grab your besties -- it's a JOYOUS girl's day out!


You are invited to attend our 2023 Women's Retreat, " Complete Joy " with guest speaker Carol Rohane.


Come join us for a full day of fellowship, learning, discussion, and fun! Registration is $20 per person.


February 18, 2023 at the Byron Museum, 110 Union Street, Byron, IL


Registration & Continental Breakfast begin at 8:30 am. The program begins at 9:00 am concludes at 2:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. 


Cash or checks (made out to Kish Church) can be brought to the Church Office.

Carol Rohane grew up in in Littlefield Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from New Mexico State University in 1978. After living in Idaho, Carole and her husband Jerry returned to Texas in 1980 and was a high school chemistry and physics teacher until retiring in 2017. They are blessed with two sons and six grandchildren. Currently, she is attending Denver Seminary through their online program and will complete a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies degree in 2023. She serves on the Board of Directors of Hope Choice, Pregnancy Centers and Mentoring Centers of Amarillo. Carol is on the leadership board of a local community-wide women’s Thursday Bible Study and co-teaches an adult Sunday school class at her church, Westminster Presbyterian Church of Amarillo. She has taught in various capacities in her church and community over the past forty years. She has served as an elder and will join the deacon board in 2023.


COVID Information

As we continue to seek to balance safety and community here at Kish during this season, the following is how we are currently approaching Sunday service:

  • We have one Gathered Worship at 10 am
  • Fellowship Time at 9:30 am
  • Nursery  care is available during the 8:45 am Discipleship Hour and the 10am service.
  • Facemasks are now optional, as the CDC has adjusted their mask guidelines for the public. We have and will continue to follow the guidelines of state and local health officials. Please be respectful of others' choices.  Update as of 2/28/22.
  • The audio recording  of the sermon is posted on the website under the Media tab.
