  • Eric Tonjes - Pastor

Eric has been the pastor of Kish since 2016. Before that he and his family lived and ministered in Lincoln, Nebraska, where Eric also grew up. This makes him a die hard Cornhusker. Eric is married to a beautiful woman (Elizabeth), and they have three wonderful kids. When he isn't busy working and juggling the kids, Eric enjoys music, board games, poetry, and good food.

Pastor Eric's ministry blog can be found here.

  • Jordan Taylor - Youth Director

Jordan has been Youth Director at Kish since 2017. He and his wife, Diana, have been married since 2012 and have a daughter (Petra) and two sons (Josiah and Jonah). He grew up in Michigan, a state known for being indisputably superior to both Nebraska and Illinois. Aside from his lame jokes, he enjoys video games, sports, and watching teens do dumb stuff. Jordan seeks to use his theological training from Moody Bible Institute (Chicago) and Western Seminary (Sacramento) to disciple teens, focusing on how Scripture is a unified story of God’s redemptive plan for humanity.

  • Linda Vandiver - Office Administrator

Linda has served Kishwaukee as church secretary since 1988. What started as just 8 hours a week has, over the years, developed into a five day a week position. Born and raised in Stillman Valley, she married her high school sweetheart, Bryan in 1981. Each spring Linda enjoys hunting morel mushrooms, and also enjoys all sorts of baking & cooking, sewing & cross-stich projects and reading. Linda and Bryan’s children are both married and living just a few hours from home — which means any given weekend they may be found visiting Katelyn & Lance or Jake & Kate, lending a hand with home improvement projects.
